First High-Voltage Electric Bike with CCS2 Fast Charging

The Raptee T30 sets itself apart with its advanced 240V architecture, making it the only electric motorcycle in India compatible with the Combined Charging System 2 (CCS2) DC fast-charging standard which is commonly used by electric cars. Commenting on the achievement, Dinesh Arjun, CEO and co-founder of Raptee.HV stated, "We are pioneering a shift in the motorcycle industry, much like what has already happened with electric cars. Developing an entirely new high-voltage architecture meant not only creating subcomponents but also establishing new performance, safety, and validation benchmarks. This certification is a result of years of dedication, and from here on, we plan to introduce a new motorcycle every year."

Delivery Timeline and Expansion Plans

Raptee.HV will commence deliveries of the T30 in their home city, Chennai and Bengaluru in the first quarter of the 2025-26 financial year, with a phased rollout planned for other cities thereafter. The company has filed 156 patents covering its proprietary high-voltage powertrain and innovative motorcycle design.
