Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today launched the 2023 Activa 6G in India at a starting price of Rs. 74,536 (ex-showroom). With the new 2023 model, the Japanese brand has brought the two-wheeler up to date with the BS6 Phase 2 RDE norms and has also made it OBD 2 complaint, thus making it the first vehicle in the company's portfolio to do so. In addition to this, an array of new tech features have been added to the package in the form of the 'Honda Smart Key' system, along with a few changes here and there.

As mentioned in the table above, the entry-level standard trim of the Honda Activa 6G will set you back by Rs. 74,536 (ex-showroom), while the top-spec Smart variant with all the bells and whistles is priced at Rs. 80,537 (ex-showroom). The prices of the Standard and Deluxe trims have been updated, while the Smart variant is an all-new addition to the line-up.
2023 Honda Activa 6G Launched: What's New?
The talking point of the latest 2023 Honda Activa 6G is the addition of the 'Honda Smart Key' which comes with an array of features such as Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Start and Smart Safe. However, these smart key features are limited to the top-spec Smart trim. In the design department, the company has incorporated new alloy wheels in the top-spec trim, rest everything remains more or less the same. As mentioned earlier, the scooter now complies with OBD 2 and BS6 Phase 2 norms. The 109.51cc single-cylinder engine remains the same with identical 7.8bhp/8.9 Nm output.
Verdict: With the launch of the updated 2023 Activa 6G, Honda has started its bandwagon for the Indian market. A host of new tech features along with a few changes here and there will help the scooter ride along the competition and continue its successful run in the market.
