Lexus NX 350h: New Updates
Visually, the 2025 Lexus NX 350h maintains its sharp, futuristic styling but gains two new paint finishes, namely the Radiant Red (available on Exquisite, Luxury, and F-Sport variants) and White Nova (offered with Exquisite, Luxury, and Overtrail trims). These new colours add a fresh touch to the already striking SUV, which continues to be positioned as one of the most stylish midsize luxury hybrids on the market. Inside, Lexus has worked to make the cabin quieter and more comfortable. The brand has added 'felt' insulation materials, particularly at the rear, to reduce noise intrusion. Air quality has also been given a boost with a revised AC filter featuring thicker fabric to trap finer particles, ensuring a cleaner in-cabin experience.
Additionally, the climate control system has been recalibrated to consume less energy, contributing not only to passenger comfort but also to improved fuel efficiency. Among the new feature additions is Uphill Assist Control, integrated with the SUV's hybrid system. This function modulates acceleration and braking on inclines, ensuring smoother uphill driving and improved control on tricky terrains. Powertrain & Efficiency- Now E20 Compliant
The 2025 NX 350h continues with its 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol-hybrid powertrain, paired with an eCVT automatic. The system delivers a combined output of 243 hp, with power split between the petrol engine and dual electric motors. What's new is that the SUV is now E20 fuel compliant, making it future-ready as India transitions to ethanol-blended fuel. Efficiency has also been enhanced, with a claimed mileage of 20.26 km/l, a noticeable improvement over the earlier figures.
Price And Rivals
While the model prices start at Rs. 68.02 lakhs and go all the way up to Rs 74.98 lakhs, it remains to be seen if this new update gets any hike, although no such indication has been given by the brand. With its price bracket and hybrid credentials, the 2025 Lexus NX 350h takes on competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60, and Audi Q5, offering an eco-conscious alternative without compromising on luxury or performance.
Lexus India is raising the bar in after-sales support by offering an 8-year/1,60,000 km warranty on all new Lexus cars sold in the country from June 1, 2024, first of its kind in the luxury segment. In addition, the brand has rolled out its Lexus Luxury Care service programme, which gives customers the flexibility to choose between 3-year/60,000 km, 5-year/1,00,000 km, or 8-year/1,60,000 km service plans, ensuring peace of mind and long-term ownership value.

The 2025 Lexus NX 350h doesn't attempt a radical overhaul but instead doubles down on what makes it appealing, which is luxury, refinement, efficiency, and sustainability. The addition of uphill assist control, new colours, and enhanced cabin comfort makes it even more compelling, while the E20-compliant hybrid powertrain with improved mileage is a timely update for India. This will make it a bit more mainstream when compared to rivals that enjoy a better maket hold than this Japanese SUV.
