Lexus India has launched the ES 500e at ?89.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This BEV marks the brand’s entry into the luxury electric vehicle market. The ES will also be available with a hybrid powertrain, which will be introduced at a later stage. The new ES 500e is powered by a 75 kWh battery pack and offers a claimed range of 580 km on a single charge.

Lexus has confirmed the launch of the new-generation ES in India on March 20, 2026, bringing a significantly updated luxury sedan to the market. The new model is larger, more tech-loaded and features a sharper design along with a revamped interior, while continuing with a strong hybrid focus. It is expected to be priced between Rs 65 lakh and Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival German midsize luxury sedans.

The 2025 Lexus ES has now been unveiled globally with an all-new design, larger dimensions, and a more minimalist, tech-heavy cabin, while introducing hybrid and, for the first time, fully electric powertrain options. It is expected to head to India soon, although the exact specifications and variants for the market are yet to be confirmed.

The Lexus ES 300h Luxury Plus Edition launched in India at ?69.70 lakh (ex-showroom) as a cosmetic update over the standard model, featuring subtle exterior tweaks and added interior enhancements. It continues with the same 2.5-litre self-charging hybrid powertrain, while packing premium features like a 17-speaker sound system, large infotainment screen, and enhanced comfort elements.

The Lexus ES Crafted Collection 2023 is unveiled in India as a limited-run festive edition, offering bespoke cosmetic upgrades and curated lifestyle accessories to enhance personalization. It retains the self-charging hybrid powertrain while adding features like illuminated scuff plates, welcome logo, and handcrafted interior elements to elevate the luxury experience.

The Lexus ES 300h has been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, highlighting its ‘Made in India’ status and self-charging hybrid technology. It is displayed alongside other electrified models like the UX 300e, underlining Lexus’ focus on hybrid efficiency and future-ready mobility in India.
