MG Cyberster EV

MG has introduced a new ‘Irises Cyan’ colour option for the MG Cyberster in India, expanding its palette to five shades. The new blue-green hue is offered at no additional cost and enhances the roadster’s visual appeal, while the rest of the design, features, and mechanical setup remain unchanged.

MG has launched the MG Cyberster EV in India at an introductory price of Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the country’s first all-electric roadster. It comes with a dual-motor AWD setup producing around 510 PS and 725 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds, along with a 77 kWh battery offering a claimed range of up to 580 km.

The MG Cyberster EV has been spotted arriving at an MG Select showroom in India, indicating that display units have started reaching dealerships ahead of wider availability. The model was seen being unloaded and parked at the showroom, likely for customer previews, even as MG continues to keep the exact rollout timeline under wraps.

MG opened bookings for the MG Cyberster EV alongside the M9 luxury MPV ahead of their launch, allowing customers to reserve the models via MG Select dealerships and online platforms. A booking amount of around Rs 51,000 was required, with deliveries planned to begin shortly after launch in 2025.

The MG Cyberster EV has set a record for the fastest 0-100 km/h acceleration on a salt lake, achieving the sprint in just 3.2 seconds at the Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan. 
The feat has been officially recognised by both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records, highlighting the roadster’s strong performance credentials.
