BMW 3-Series
The current-gen 3 Series has been carrying on with small tweaks here and there for quite a while. It continues with both petrol and diesel options, both being 2.0-litre, four-cylinder units. There is also the more performance-focused M340i, with a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder unit. However, a new-gen 3 Series is likely to make its global debut in 2026, with Neue Klasse-inspired styling, while retaining the powertrains from the current-gen car. There will also be an all-electric version as well.

The M340i was updated in 2024 with new color options, interior upholstery, and the M adaptive suspension made standard. Additionally, the BMW M340i has become India’s fastest production car manufactured in India.
BMW has introduced the facelifted M340i sedan in India, marking the first variant of the latest generation 3 Series to be launched in the country. The sedan features a sharper aesthetic, highlighted by a prominent kidney grille, sharp headlights, and sleek split LED taillights. The model also debuts BMW’s i-Drive 8 infotainment system and is powered by a 387PS six-cylinder engine for enhanced performance.
