2025 TVS Raider

The 2025 TVS Raider 125 has received a notable update with dual-disc brakes and single-channel ABS, giving it a more premium and sporty edge in the 125cc segment. The updated Raider appears production-ready and is expected to appeal to riders looking for both performance and safety in a commuter bike. However, there are no such updates in the design, only a new metallic finish with red sporty alloys. These upgrades put the Raider in a strong position against rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar, Honda X-Blade, and Suzuki Gixxer 125.

Features And Hardware Updates

When it comes to features, it gets a TFT screen with Bluetooth Connectivity with features like turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert and much more. Additionally, it now gets follow-me-home headlamps, which are the first in the 125cc segment. However, with this update, the Raider gets dual-disc brakes and single-channel ABS, and with this, it becomes the first in the segment to offer rear disc brakes. Apart from the tyres having got wider than before, with the front being 90-section width and the rear remaining at 110-section width. However, it still rides on the same telescopic setup at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

Powertrain

Mechanically, it is powered by the same 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which belts out 11.2 bhp and 11.75 nm of torque with boost mode, along with iGO assist technology. Meanwhile, it comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. Not just this, the Raider 125 already offers GTT Glide through technology, which makes it easier to navigate in the traffic.

While the engine remains unchanged, the improved braking, modern TFT features, and sporty styling enhance safety, performance, and appeal, putting it ahead of rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar 125, Honda X-Blade, and Suzuki Gixxer 125. With production-ready units already at dealerships, the Raider is ready to attract riders looking for a feature-rich, stylish commuter bike.
