Ather 450 Apex: Details
Ather introduces Warp+, a new riding mode for the 450 Apex scooter, accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.9 seconds. With an industry-leading reaction time of 90 ms, it claims the fastest throttle response among ICE scooters and EVs. The 450 Apex delivers 210 Nm peak torque, 25% more than competitors. Warp+ boosts power by 10%, resulting in a 30% faster 4080 km/h speed compared to the 450X, with a new top speed of 100 km/h. The updated UI enhances the ride experience.
Another standout addition is the 'Magic Twist.' This innovative city riding feature is a first of its kind and brings exceptional convenience to riders. Unlike conventional 2W regenerative braking systems, the Magic Twist on the 450 Apex can bring the scooter to a complete stop, even at 100% battery charge. Typically, regenerative braking systems only start working at around 85% battery charge or below, and they can only slow down the vehicle, not bring it to a halt. The Magic Twist, however, allows users to brake by applying negative input on the throttle, offering 40% more braking force than other 2W regen systems in India. Moreover, Magic Twist contributes to improving the scooter's range by up to 7%, extending it to 157 km (IDC range).

The specific shade of blue, known as 'Indium Blue,' is recognized as the flattest and most matte blue ever discovered.
Ather believes in keeping things sleek and uncomplicated, and they've taken this idea to the next level with the Ather 450 Apex. This scooter stands out with a see-through panel that lets you see the cool orange framework underneath. It's not just a design choice it's Ather showing off their neat engineering skills. And guess what? The Ather 450 Apex is the only scooter in India that lets you see through its panel, making it a unique showcase of smart and clean design.
Ather is adding a special touch to the 450 Apex with the offering of a Delight Kit. Included are a handcrafted helmet, another TPMS, neck gaiter, garment patch, and a unique keychain, all matching the scooter's blue-orange theme. The 450 Apex offers a 5-year/60,000-kilometer battery warranty and free Ather Connect for 3 years. Bookings are open, and deliveries start in March 2024, promising riders a bold design and peak performance.
