1. The Most Affordable Price Tag On A Chetak, Yet

Following the launch of the Chetak 3501 and 3502, Bajaj Auto has introduced the new Chetak 3503 electric scooter. Priced at Rs. 1.1 lakh (ex-showroom), it is now the most affordable offering in the 35 Series lineup, positioned below the other two models. However, it is not the most affordable from the brand as you have the 2903 as the cheapest with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 98,498.
2. Feature Omission- Comes At A Cost Or The Lack Of It!

The Bajaj Chetak 3503 still offers plenty of essentials for everyday riding, featuring a full-metal body, hill-hold assist, and two riding modes (Eco and Sport). The scooter also comes equipped with a colour LCD display that includes basic Bluetooth connectivity. However, it does scale back in a few areas to keep costs in check. It has a slower charging time (0-80% in 3 hours and 25 minutes), uses a drum brake at the front instead of a disc, and omits sequential turn indicators seen on the higher variants. Also, skipping the TFT for the LCD panel is another cost-cutting measure that can be noticed.
3. Battery And Range
The Chetak 3503 is powered by the same 3.5 kWh battery mounted on the floorboard, offering a claimed range of 155km at a full charge. However, its performance is slightly dialed back compared to its siblings, with the top speed capped at 63 kmph. Charging is also a bit slower, reaching 80 percent takes about 3 hours and 25 minutes with the standard off-board charger, whereas the higher variants manage the same in around 3 hours.

4. Still Very Practical
Although the scaled-back feature list and a lower top speed measure are there to keep the costs down and place the Chetak 3503 towards the start of the price list. But it is still the family-friendly, practical scooter that Chetak has always been known for. It offers a spacious 35-litre underseat storage area, ideal for carrying bags, helmets, or groceries, while the longer 725mm seat and improved footboard space ensure greater comfort for both rider and passenger during commutes.

5. Colour Options And Rivals
The Bajaj Chetak 3503 will be offered in four eye-catching colours: Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, Cyber White, and Matt Grey. Positioned competitively, the Chetak 3503 will go up against rivals such as the Ather Rizta S, Ola S1 X+, TVS iQube, and others in the market.
Verdict
Bajaj Chetak 3503 hits another bulls-eye with a very lucrative price point, aimed at those who do not fancy the overlaod of tech and other feature but only the regular commute from point A to B. If you fancy a little more convenience you can go for the higher trims, albeit at a premium
