Bajaj has introduced the new Bajaj Chetak Urbane Edition. Priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, the standard model offers a compelling option, while the enhanced "Tecpac" variant comes in at Rs 1.21 lakh. With four visually appealing color optionsMatte Coarse Grey, Cyber White, Brooklyn Black, and Indigo Metallicthe Chetak Urbane 2024 showcases a contemporary design. 1 New Entry-Level Variant
Bajaj has introduced a new variant of the Chetak electric scooter in India, named the Chetak Urbane. With a standard price of Rs 1.15 lakh and Rs 1.21 lakh for the Tecpac-equipped variant (all prices, ex-showroom), the Chetak Urbane is positioned at the same price point as the Chetak Premium. However, it comes with notable distinctions beneath the surface, offering customers additional choices within the Chetak electric scooter lineup.

2. Increased Range
The newly introduced Chetak Urbane retains the existing 2.9kWh battery featured in the current model. Notably, the Bajaj website indicates a slightly increased range of 113km for the Urbane variant compared to the current Chetak's 108km. It's important to note that the Urbane's range is IDC-certified, providing a standardized measure, while the current Chetak Premium's 108km is its real-world claim, with IDC rating it at 126km.
3. Digital Display And A Feature Feast
The Chetak Urbane features a vibrant color LCD display, similar to its Premium counterpart. Designed for convenience, it comes packed with features such as Hill Hold Assist, Reverse Mode, Geo-location, Key Fob, App Connectivity, and an Off-board Charger.
4. Higher Top Speed
The Chetak Urbane, cruising at a standard 63kph, operates in a sole Eco riding mode. However, with the addition of the "Tecpac" variant, the top speed sees a significant increase to 73kph.
5. Charging: A Little Compromise
Despite the appealing upgrades in the new Urbane model, it does lag behind the current Chetak Premium in a few aspects. Notably, the charging speed with the standard charger has experienced a slight reduction, decreasing from 800W to a still respectable 650W. Consequently, the charging time has extended to around 4 hours and 50 minutes, compared to the previous 3 hours and 50 minutes.
6. 4 Exiting Colours
The Chetak Urbane 2024 is available in four striking colorsMatte Coarse Grey, Cyber White, Brooklyn Black, and Indigo Metallic. This model showcases a contemporary and stylish design, complemented by enhanced features and improved performance,
