The Bajaj Platina 100 is one of the highest selling bikes in the segment and brings in significant sales numbers for the brand. With prices starting at Rs 49.26k, the Bajaj Platina is available in two variants - Kick Alloy and Electric Start Alloy. As per the recent reports, the brand is all set to launch the third variant in the Platina lineup. This variant will be named as Bajaj Platina 100 ES Disc, and as the name suggests, it will be available with a disc brake setup for the front wheel.
The Bajaj Platina ES disc brake variant will be launched in the Indian market in the coming weeks and is expected to be priced at Rs 59,373 (ex-showroom). It is worth noting the fact that the Plpatina ES variant is priced at Rs 55.55k (ex-showroom) and is the highest-selling variant in the Platina line-up. While we do not have the exact specifications for the disc brake setup, it is expected that the bike will get the same 240 mm rotor which is also seen in the Platina 110 H Gear.

Apart from this, the Platina ES disc variant is will be exactly similar and will be powered by the same 102 cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 7.9 PS and 8.34 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
As of the now, the Platina 100 ES gets drum brake setup at the front and at the rear and features Combined Braking System to aid in better braking. Apart from this, the bike gets features such as LED DRLs, tinted visor, alloy wheels, blacked-out exhaust with chrome heat shield, rubber footpegs, and more. At the front, the bike gets a pair of telescopic forks with 135 mm of travel while at the rear, the bike gets a twin SNS suspension with 100 mm of travel.
