Lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries are used by the recently released e-Ashwa e-auto to supply all of its power. Both batteries charge differently; the lithium-ion battery charges in three to four hours whereas the lead-acid battery takes seven to eight hours. The e-auto has a soft rooftop and a heavy-steel body for better durability. The e-auto will be offered in Sky Blue, Green, Orange, Black, and White colours, and the manufacturer says that it has a range of up to 100 kilometres on a single charge.
The top speed of these e-auto is 25 kmph. For existing traditional rickshaw drivers wishing to switch, the affordable e-auto will be a suitable choice. Additionally, it will be less expensive, low-maintenance, and eco-friendly.
The business has experienced significant growth since 2018, and 12 different electric 2-wheeler models were released last year. In a range of categories, including electric scooters, e-motorbikes, e-rickshaws, e-autos, e-loaders, and e-garbage trucks, it has sold more than 18,000 electric vehicles (EVs). It has 950 dealers nationally and 16 state-based assembly facilities. It also has a technical staff of about 750 people.
