The teaser for the upcoming Hero Destini 125 Xtec is out, and in this quick under-30-seconds reel posted on the Hero MotoCorp Instagram handle, I noticed a few significant changes. First, the bronze chrome treatment on the front apron, rear end, side mirrors, and the Destini 125 badge is the main highlight of the teaser. Second, the LED headlamps and tail lamps, along with the positioning of the turn indicators, add a premium feel to the scooter.
Lastly, the pillion grab rail with a backrest is another notable feature. Let's take a deep dive into this upcoming scooter. In the meantime, make sure to join the 91Wheels Whatsapp Channel to never miss out on automotive updates.

Bronze Chrome Elements
There is a lot of bronze chrome treatment on this scooter, starting from the front. First of all, there is an H-shaped chrome insert at the front, which features halogen turn indicators. In the teaser, it looks rich and thoughtful. This bronze chrome theme continues on the side mirrors, which have this element in the middle of the body colored mirrors.
Then the badge of this scooter, Destini 125, is painted with the same styling, and the rear indicators are placed above the H-shaped LED tail lights, in a chrome setting above the piano black area. This is a very unusual piece of styling, and it's unclear how it will look in real life. Lastly, the Hero MotoCorp badge is again painted in the same setting.
LED Setup
As expected, the LED headlamps are present, along with vertically shaped LED DRLs. From the teaser, it seems like the headlamp size has increased, making it look chunkier. Moving to the rear, the H-shaped design continues with LED DRLs, giving it a modern look. However, the blinkers are all halogen.
Other Details
The last two things to mention are the pillion backrest, which is highly appreciated by customers, and the quite large grab rail. After the TVS Jupiter 125, the Hero Destini 125 will become the second scooter to offer this feature. The second point is the fully digital instrument cluster, which was not the focus of the teaser but was still visible.
Details are not available, but it will definitely have Bluetooth connectivity. Riders will then be able to connect their smartphones and access features such as turn-by-turn navigation, call and social media alerts, distance to empty, average fuel economy, live sports updates, and news updates.
