Last month, Hero Motocorp introduced the Vida V1, its first electric scooter, and the product has stirred up interest in the market for electric two-wheelers. Hero has already started offering test drives of the Vida V1 scooters after opening its first Vida experience centre in Bengaluru. The brand will soon launch their experience centres in Jaipur & Delhi as part of the following phase.

Hero Vida Experience Centre
The first experience centre in Bengaluru features the Vida V1 Plus & V1 Pro electric scooters, charging station, and product configuration, allowing consumers to customise their scooters to meet their specific needs. Vittal Mallya Road is where the Vida store is situated in Bengaluru. The facility measures 8,500 square feet.
Customers who are interested in learning more about the Vida V1 electric scooters can visit the Vida showroom. Additionally, the company has begun test rides of the scooter. Soon, test drives will start in other cities, and additional experience centres will also be established. Customers can reserve a test ride for their location by visiting https://www.vidaworld.com. Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter Specifications
The Hero Vida V1 Pro and V1 Plus comes with different battery packs. The V1 Pro gets a 3.94 kWh battery pack, while the V1 Plus gets a 3.44 kWh battery. The range of the V1 Plus is 143 km, and the V1 pro has a 165 km range. In terms of features, both scooters offer a touchscreen instrument cluster with a lot of information. The scooters have three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sports. Both scooters also come with options for disc brakes, alloy wheels, cruise control, portable batteries, GPS, telematics, and other technologies.
Delivery of the Vida V1 will start in the second week of December in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur.
Verdict: Hero has added a number of industry-first after-sales support programmes that raise the bar for the competition. It would be interesting to observe how the Hero Vida does in the market once delivery begin.
