Honda has revised the prices of its most popular two-wheeler i.e. Activa. Both, Honda Activa & the Activa 125, have received revisions in price. As listed above, the prices of the whole Activa range have been hiked. The Activa scooter is the best-selling gearless scooter in India. Additionally, it is sold in two engine variants. The first one is called Activa which features a 109cc engine while the Activa 125 features a bigger 124cc engine. Recently, Honda has also renamed the Activa. It was previously badged Activa 6G but Honda has now removed the 6G moniker from it. Meanwhile, the price hike of Activa is minimal as seen here in the list. The Activa itself is now only costlier by up to Rs 811. However, the 125 Activa has seen a price hike of Rs 1,177 on its sticker price.
In terms of power, Activa makes 7.73 bhp of peak output and 8.90 Nm of peak torque. It uses a CVT transmission for delivering this power to the rear wheel. Meanwhile, the Activa 125 makes a peak power of 8.19 bhp & 10.9 Nm of peak torque. Both of these models are offered with the options of the drum as well as single front disc brake options.
Verdict
As the new emission norms have been implemented, most of the vehicles in India have undergone price hikes. Hence, Honda has also decided to hike the prices of the Activa range. However, this hike is minimal as compared to its rivals. One of its primary rival are - TVS Jupiter & Jupiter 125.
