India has become a blunt SUV crazy nation and this has already been proven by the sales charts. Not just the 'regular' cars but even the demand for luxury and sportscar cum SUVs has also been on a consistent rise. Adding to the list of owners of Lamborghini Urus; cricketer Rohit Sharma has joined the league of this SUV love of Indians.
Launched back in 2018, Lamborghini's first SUV experiment went successful in the global as well as the Indian market. Although due to their policies, the sales data was never released of the Urus but with consistent buying from various celebrities and big shots of India it is clear that Urus has become the first choice for the luxury sportscar cum SUV buyers.
Cricket Rohit Sharma has recently added the feather to his name by welcoming home a Blu Eleos Metallic color Urus. The uber-cool distinctive shade of blue meshed with 22-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels look supremely gorgeous. Sources over the internet have also suggested that this particular Urus beholds a completely custom handmade Sportivo Leather interior package, specially made for the cricketer.
Lamborghini Urus Engine & Specifications
Propelling the luxury sports SUV Urus is a powerful 4.0 Lt, V8, bi-turbo petrol engine which divulges an eye-watering peak power of 650 Bhp and a peak torque of 850 Nm to all the four wheels. This power is mated down via use of a dry double clutch 8-speed transmission.
Talking about the performance, Urus can achieve the 100 kmph mark from standstill under 3.6 seconds while the top speed is 300+ kmph. These figures are definitely more than enough to give an enthralling driving experience to the passengers as well as the driver.
The use of all-wheel drive technology which has been derived from Audi's Quattro system makes helps the Urus to be capable of doing slight-off road driving. Although, the 22-inch diamond-cut low-profile wheels won't help the Urus during off-road situations.
And just for the knowledge of it, this sports SUV gives a claimed fuel economy of 8 kmpl.

Urus Design & Interiors
Urus has been designed in the typical Lamborghini design language. With sharp body lines and aggressive design cues such as the front end which features bright and sharp LED headlights along the prominent wide grille fitted in the front bumper.
Even the side profile and the rear profile merge altogether at the C-pillar in a shape of a coupe car. The whole dynamics of the Urus are a result of the aerodynamic capability of this luxury sports SUV which has been achieved via this coupe-like roofline design. The rear end is also shaped in a very aggressive way which beholds the iconic sharp LED taillight design and the Lamborghini badge incarnated at the boot.
The interiors of Urus match the exterior design and they do look very futuristic and upmarket. As the whole idea of design of the Urus revolved around sports SUV; interiors get touches from Lamborghini's sports cars such as the Huracan and the Aventador as well. The identical sports steering wheel, all-digital instrument cluster, and dashboard layout do justify the Lamborghini tag.
Being a sports SUV, the interior space is strictly for 4 passengers but the comfort has been slightly compromised for retaining the sportscar driving characteristics that the driver shall feel behind the steering wheel.
Lamborghini Urus Price
The price tag that the Urus comes with is a staggering Rs 3.15-3.43 Crores (ex-showroom) depending upon the choice of colours. Customers can also opt from a host of accessories including special body kits and engine performance enhancements like the sports exhaust system; which comes at additional costs.
