The GMC Hummer EV is the epitome of electric nirvana on wheels. This larger-than-life electric SUV is bonkers in the way it looks, has electrifying performance, and has a bag full of features to keep owners busy. Incase you want to venture out into the unknown, it is also off-road ready. Friday Night Cars are handling the entire paperwork and will offer you a warranty and even conversion to RHD. Expensive for sure, but see this as an environment friendly supercar in an SUV avatar!

Pros & Cons of GMC Hummer EV

• What we admire in this car

  • Massive foot print: towers over all other cars on the road
  • Biggest battery pack: over 200 kWh capacity gives 500+km range
  • Incredibly quick: 0-100 km/h in just over 3 seconds
  • Cool features on offer: Crab mode, WTF launch mode, adjustable ground clearance to 404mm and more
  • Feature loaded: front frunk and rear boot doors are powered, powered rear windshield, 300 kW super fast DC charging
  • Removable roof panels up the aesthetics even more

• What could have been better

  • A heavy weight of over 4 tons means that inspite of the huge battery pack, the range is just 500km
  • High pricing - due to customs duties and RHD conversion, the ex-showroom price is a staggering Rs 3.5 crore
  • Due to the height, Ingress and egress are understandably poor. It takes a lot of effort to get into the Hummer EV
  • International reports hint at braking not being too effective.
