• What could have been better

  • The base variant is Rs 25 lakhs more expensive than its ICE counterpart.
  • International reports suggest that the base Macan EV is less satisfying to drive.
  • If you want seat ventilation or a premium surround sound system, you'll have to pay several lakhs extra.

Unmistakably Porsche. Looks like an offspring of the Taycan. 9

• The LED DRLs on the Macan EV are the same as those on the Taycan, but with a slightly different shape. However, the LED headlights are positioned in the bumper, like on every new modern car. 
• The bumper looks simple, not boasting any sharp cuts or creases, and it matches the overall aesthetics of the Macan EV.
• The 21-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels enhance the overall look of the car.
• From the rear, the Macan EV appears the best, as it boasts a coupe SUV shape. The LED tail-light and connected DRLs together make it a treat for the eyes.
• Like the Panamera GTS, the Macan EV too has active spoilers that open up automatically or manually.

• Porsche Macan EV is available in three variants, the regular Macan, Macan 4S and Macan Turbo. 
• Each one of them is powered by a 100 kWh battery. 
• The first variant, the Macan, which gets an RWD drivetrain, offers 831 km of range and 360 PS of power. According to Porsche, it will go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. 
• The second variant, the Macan 4S, as the name suggests, is an AWD vehicle. It produces 516 PS and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. Its range as per Porsche is 776 km. 
• The last one is the Macan Turbo, the top-spec variant, which produces 639 PS and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The range is 762 km. 

 

Where functionality meets top-class finesse - the interior is top notch. 9

• The digital driver’s display screen is of 10.9 Inch and the infotainment screen is of 12.6 Inch. 
• The sports steering wheel is individually configurable when purchasing the car. That said, it includes every important button you need while driving the Macan EV, including drive modes. 
• Ambient lighting is included, enhancing the experience of this well-sorted interior.  
• The seats are tremendously comfortable, and the front ones are 14-way electrically adjustable. For the memory function, one has to opt for the additional 'memory package.
• Macan EV offers plenty of storage space inside for all your belongings. Plus, it comes with a wireless charging pad.
