Mahindra Thar is one of the most aspirational cars in the Indian automotive market. Each one of us are very intrigued to drive the new Thar and experience its prowess. While we have spurted out a ton of videos of the new Thar already, here is how and when you can test drive the Thar and experience the most affordable 4X4 SUV in India. We tell you the dates and cities where you can take the test drive of the all-new Mahindra Thar.
Mahindra has started accepting the test drive enquires for the Thar from the launch day itself which was 2nd October. The major cities in India, 18 cities to be precise, will be getting the test drives rolling from 2nd October. The 18 cities are Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Cochin, Calicut, Thrissur, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, Goa and Nashik. If you live in or near any of the aforementioned cities, you can book the test drive and experience the Thar. It is worth mentioning that the test drives are for prospective customers and you should have a valid driving license.
There we mentioned the cities coming in Phase 1 of test drives. Coming to Phase 2 which will kick start from October 10, we have four categories - North, East, West and South. First, the North region includes Leh, Samba, Srinagar, Amritsar, Bathinda, Ferozepur, Jalandhar, Muktsar, Pathankot, Patiala, Ambala, Karnal, Rohtak, Sirsa, Mandi, Shimla, Agra, Faizabad, Gonda, Kanpur, Lucknow, Muzaffarnagar, Varanasi, Dehradun, Haldwani, Haridwar and Rudrapur.

Moving to the East section, we have Asansol, Aizwal, Dimapur, Patna, Purnea, Jajpur, Guwahati, Howrah and many more cities. You can refer to the image above for all the 100 cities list of Phase 2. The West region includes Anand, Mehsana, Rajkot, Suraj, Vadodara, Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore Jabalpur, Kota, Udaipur, Ahmedabad among other cities. Moving to the last region which is the South, we have Hubli, Mangalore, Mysore, Shimoga, Kannur, Kollam, Palakkad, Tumkur among many more cities.

You can go to Mahindra Thar website and register your test drive request online or just reach out any Mahindra dealerships in aforementioned cities and get the test drive. Having said that, Mahindra also claims complete sanitization and safe test drive process at all of their dealerships.
