Mahindra XUV700 Price Hiked From November 2024
Mahindra has announced a price hike for select Mahindra XUV700 variants, specifically affecting the AX and AX7 L trims. The top-spec variants remain unchanged without any more updates, while the AX7 and AX7 DT variants with manual transmissions have also been spared from the price hike. The price increase ranges from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000, depending on the variant. It's worth noting that Mahindra had previously reduced prices by Rs 2 lakh just six months ago. The XUV700 is now priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 25.64 lakh (ex-showroom) where the dual-tone trims command a premium of Rs. 15,000.

The Mahindra XUV700 is available with two engine options: a 200 hp, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 185 hp, 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine. While the AX7 trim offers a manual transmission option with the petrol engine, the AX7 L trim is exclusively available with an automatic transmission. 4WD capability is offered only on the top-spec diesel AX7 L variants, which command a premium of Rs 1-1.2 lakh over their 2WD automatic counterparts.
Verdict
The price hike comes a short while after the prices for the XUV700 were dropped by Rs. 2 lakhs before the festive season. However, the benefits and offers are avaialble on a monthly basis and you can check in with your nearest dealership and you might be able to offset this hike with some other attractive discounts and offers.
