The upcoming Honda electric scooter, which is speculated to be the Honda Activa Electric, has been teased yet again. This time, there are a few bits that can be seen, but it is still quite hard to determine the rest of the product.

Honda Activa Electric: More Details Revealed!
The second teaser reel shows us a glimpse of the electric motor. The Activa Electric will be powered by a hub-mounted electric motor, and we can expect it to produce between 7-8bhp, given that Honda says it aims to match up to 110cc scooters performance-wise.
It is quite hard to tell what the Activa Electric may look like. In our earlier report, we mentioned Honda might leverage the familiarity of the current Activa and use some futuristic bits here and there, similar to what the TVS iQube does. However, the new teaser may change a few perceptions, as the placement of the headlamp seems to be lower on the front apron, similar to scooters with a more youthful, modern design language.
The new electric scooter from Honda is also likely to come with a long seat, as the Japanese bikemaker may want to focus on comfort and practicality.
As for the battery packs and charging options, details remain scarce on those fronts. There is a possibility of swappable battery packs being offered, as Honda had earlier mentioned plans of setting up swapping stations across the country. However, Honda is also in the process of setting up charging stations, with access to a limited number of cities for now.

Verdict
Honda's entry into the electric mobility space has been hugely anticipated for a long time, and the wait will finally end on November 27. Likely to be the Activa Electric, it will rival against the Bajaj Chetak Electric and the TVS iQube.
