Launched at INR 1.99 lakh, the recently launched One Moto Electa offers a top speed of 100 kmph and a range of 150 km on a full charge
One-Moto has today announced the launch of a new electric scooter in the fast-expanding EV market. Dubbed Electa, this e-scooter has gone on sale at INR 1,99,000 (ex-showroom, pan-India). In the words of its manufacturer, the latest offering is a "modern classic" whose audience base comprises youth that is supporting a quick adoption of EVs to achieve an eco-friendly future.

The Electa is its brand's third offering, after Commuta and Byka high-speed electric scooters that were launched last month. Akin to the earlier models, the Electa will support the One-App that supports Bluetooth, IoT and Geo-fencing. The app also provides maintenance alerts and commuting behaviour reports.
The One-Moto Electa has gone on sale in 6 colours Mat Black, Shiny Black, Blue, Red and Grey. It has a rather classy look replete with some retro charm. The e-scooter comes equipped with a 72V-45AH detachable lithium-ion battery that can be completely charged in 4 hours. The manufacturer claims that the new offering has a top speed of 100 kmph and that it has a maximum range of 150 km on a full charge. The EV is propelled by a 4KW QS brushless DC hub motor. The new electric scooter has gone on sale with a 3-year warranty on the motor, battery and controller. The equipment list includes hydraulic disk brakes at the front as well as the rear and optional chrome trim.

Speaking on the introduction of the Electa, Mr. Muzammil Riyaz, Partner & Promoter, One-Moto India, has said, "Since Indian automotive market has become focused on shifting from ICE to EV, it was understood that the early experience would count a lot if the mission has to be sustained. We forayed in the Indian market with the very objective of addressing the EV requirements of those looking for something chic and unique. The cutting -edge technology, wrapped in carefully crafted design makes it a premium product for our target audience."
