Porsche has revealed the Macan GTS variant which bridges the gap between S and Turbo variant of Macan. In India, we only get Macan and Macan S. However, Macan GTS and Macan Turbo will be launched later.
Powering the Macan GTS is a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 churns out 375 hp and 520 Nm of torque. Porsche claims nought to 100 km/h time of 4.7 seconds but you can also opt for Sport Chrono package which does the same in 4.5 seconds. Keep the throttle open and the Macan GTS will do 260 km/h for you.
Macan GTS sits 15 mm lower than rest of the Macan range and also equipped with Porsches Adaptive air suspension as standard which can lower the chassis further by 10 millimetres. GTS has been differentiated from Macan range by 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers, sporty side skirts, black painted elements all around, darkened front and rear lights with a darkened rear light bar and a diffuser.
The story continues in the interiors with high-quality Alcantara covering the layers of armrest and door panels with brushed aluminium panels to make it suaver than before. Leather-wrapped steering wheel, sports seats, wireless charging and Bose sound system have also been added to uplift the sportiness of the cabin. Porsche has also dropped some optional accessories like Porsche Ceramic-composite Brakes (PCCB), park assist with the surround-view camera, heated windshield and an ionizer.

The competition will become fierce for BMW X4 and Mercedes GLC Coupe when Porsche launches the Macan GTS in India. For now, Porsche is offering two variants of Macan, Standard which is priced at 69.98 lakhs and S which is priced at 85.03 lakhs ex-showroom.
We don't know the time when Porsche launches the GTS in India but GTS and Turbo variants have been listed on Porsche India website
