Just last month, Renault announced the launch of 6 new products for the Indian market. One of which was the top hit of Renault in India- The Renault Duster. While it was discontinued sometime back, the new updated model will be launched here in the country again. And some shots of the vehicle have been spied testing, and it looks big.
Let's look at the returning SUV in some disguised shots that reveal more details.
Renault Duster 2024- Looks Imposing
This test mule is spotted testing internationally, but the same will be coming here in India as the new Renault Duster. By the looks of it, the stance is imposing and the footprint is quite significant. It is nearly based on the Dacia Duster and the Bigster Concept. The size could lie somewhere in between both of these SUVs.
The front profile of the car, even in disguise, gives away a lot of details about the things to come. It sports a thin LED headlamps setup with a slim grille in a vertical layout. The air intakes are vertical as well on the corners of the bumper. And the fog lamps assembly could have been hidden under the camo but will be available on Duster.
From the side, what is evident is that this is bigger than the axed Duster. The boxy silhouette with sloping tailgate and butched-up bonnet provide a very Duster-ish look, that was loved by the buyers. The wheel arches are well articulated, and the alloys are 17-18 inches. Since the side shots are visible clearly, it is safe to say that the upcoming Duster will be longer than the previous model.
Rear profile, although under camo, seems to complement the overall stance of the SUV. It is equipped with LED tail lamps, an antenna, and a rear wiper with a washer. The exhaust can be seen in the lower left corner while the brake light mounted on the sloping rear spoiler.
It will be offered in both an ICE variant as well as a Hybrid set-up as well. Plus, this one could see an AWD system in the top-spec variant The interiors are not visible in these pictures, but it would be an all-new cabin with class-leading features. 6 airbags, a 10-inch infotainment screen, and more.
Indian Comeback?
The all-new Duster will make its comeback in India sometime in 2024. And it is a perfect time, with the Indian market heavily accepting compact SUVs. Along with this, 5 more cars have been indicated by the brand, which will be accompanying its star performer.
