On World Environment Day, Tata Motors announced an agreement with BluSmart Electric Mobility to deliver 10,000 XPRES T EVs to the company, marking another step forward in the transition to sustainable mobility. This is India's largest-ever EV fleet order, with 10,000 units being deployed. These vehicles, which will begin deliveries soon, are in addition to the 3,500 XPRES T EV ordered by both corporations in October of last year. They will be used by commuters around the country, reducing carbon emissions.
Tata Motors announced the XPRES brand, which is solely for fleet clients, in July 2021, with the XPRES-T EV being the first car under this brand. The XPRES-T electric vehicle is available in two ranges: 213 km and 165 km (ARAI certified range under test conditions).

The XPRES-T EV has a 21.5 kWh and 16.5 kWh high-energy density battery that can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 90 minutes and 110 minutes, respectively, utilising fast charging. It can also be charged conventionally from any 15 A plug point, which is readily available and handy. It has zero tailpipe emissions, a single-speed automatic transmission, dual airbags, and ABS with EBD as standard equipment on all models.
