At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, There's a lot on display at the Tata's pavilion. From new concepts to new editions of the existing models, one such edition was the Tata Safari Stealth Edition, which grabbed everyone's attention. But the question arises: what does this black edition have on offer when compared to the regular Tata Safari? Design
In terms of looks, the major difference that the Stealth edition has over the regular one is the matte-black shade on the exterior. From the grille to the alloys, everything is blacked out. While the regular version gets a chrome garnish inside the headlamps along with a silver skid plate. Coming to the side, Stealth offers blacked-out door handles and 19-inch alloys along with a "Stealth" badging on the fenders. In contrast, the regular safari gets chrome door handles along with dual-tone 19-inch alloys. However, the rear profile features the Tata logo in black along with a blacked-out lower bumper, which has chrome in the regular edition.
Features
Inside, the feature remains the same, Stealth Edition is expected to come with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 10-speaker Harman Kardon system and dual-zone automatic AC. While the safety features such as 7-airbags, a reverse parking camera and Level 2 ADAS are expected to be present on the Tata Safari Stealth Edition.
Powertrain
The Stealth Edition only offers cosmetic changes, mechanically it is powered by the same 2-litre diesel engine, which comes along with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic unit. This engine churns out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque.
Pricing & Rivals
The regular Safari is available for Rs 15.50 lakh(ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 27 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the price for Stealth Edition has not been announced yet. The Tata Safari rivals against the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV 700.
