Volvo Cars India has introduced its second all-electric SUV, the C40 Recharge, in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the Volvo C40 Recharge is offered in a fully equipped single variant, boasting a remarkable range of up to 530 kilometers on a single charge. Bookings for the C40 Recharge will commence today at 5 PM, and the introductory pricing will be applicable to the initial 500 customers exclusively.

The recently introduced C40 Recharge comes in a choice of eight colors, such as Fusion Red, Cloud Blue, Crystal White, Onyx Black, Sage Green, Fjord Blue, Silver Dawn, and Vapour Grey. Additionally, customers have the option to personalize their C40 Recharge according to their individual preferences.

The C40 Recharge bears a resemblance to the XC40 Recharge in its front profile Both the electric SUVs by Volvo shares the same Compact Modular Architecture (CMA). However, the C40 stands out with its distinctive sloping rear roofline, creating a coupe-like appearance. Notably, it showcases unique LED tail lamps, a rear spoiler, and a twin-pod roof spoiler. The vehicle is also fitted with 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with spoke design.
Volvo C40 Recharge - Interior
On the inside of the C40 Recharge, you'll find Suede textile upholstery, giving it a stylish and comfortable interior. In terms of features, it boasts a 12.3-inch driver display, electronically adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, an air purifier, and a vertical 9-inch touchscreen entertainment system running on the Android OS. Moreover, it offers a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a high-quality 13-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a 360-degree camera, and a range of other comfort and safety features, including ADAS.

Volvo C40 Recharge - Powertrain
The C40 Recharge is equipped with a 78 kWh battery pack, paired with dual electric motors producing a combined power output of 402 bhp and a peak torque of 660 Nm. It employs an AWD drivetrain and can achieve a maximum speed of 180 km/h. In addition, it offers an impressive range of 530 km on a single charge. Furthermore, utilizing a 150kW DC fast charger, the C40 Recharge can charge from zero to eighty percent in just 27 minutes.
