Pros & Cons of Hero Destini 125 2018-2022
Hero Destini 125 2018-2022 Detailed Review
The Hero Destini is somewhat similar in style to the Hero Duet, but with the addition of black cast wheels. A full-metal body, trademark tail lamps and indicators, and body-coloured mirrors are included with the scooter. It has huge headlamps at the front, which are flanked by body-coloured mirrors. It sports a new rear grab rail and 3D nomenclature on the side panels, as well as a chrome stripe on the side panels. The dual-tone seat cover on the scooter features a matching hexagonal pattern. The tail lights add to the overall look. The speedometer is on the dials, along with a digital display for the fuel level, odometer, trip log, and service due reminder. It contains a multi-function key slot that aids in the opening of the external fuel-filling cap. The VX model sports a dual-tone design for the saddle, despite the scooter's modest design. On the sides, there are honeycomb motifs. The silver pillion grab rail adds contrast to the overall appearance. The scooter is available in four colours - Nobel Red, Chestnut Brown, Pearl Silver White, and Panther Black. The overall looks and design of the Destini scooter are generic. Hero has designed the Destini scooter to appeal masses rather than a specific age group like some of its rivals offer.
Summary
It possesses satisfactory charm and attraction. Though the headlamps are not LED.

Hero is known for making one of the most tractable and fuel-efficient engines. The Destini 125 scooter is no different than its counterparts from the product lineup. The Hero Destini 125 outperforms its competitors easily when it comes to performance and fuel economy. The scooter is powered by a 124.6 cc air-cooled engine that produces 8.7 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and 10.2 Nm at 5,000 r/pm.The Hero scooter is the first to include the i3S system. When the scooter's engine has been still for more than 5 seconds, it will automatically shut down.
From a standstill to 60 kph, the acceleration is quick. The speedometer climbs steadily until it reaches 80 kilometres per hour, at which point it slows down. The speed limit on the highway is 90 kilometres per hour. The scooter is capable of reaching speeds of 70 k/ph with little effort and seems at ease around that speed. Until 60 k/ph, the refining levels are clean. The vibrations, however, can be felt from the footboard. As the speed grows, it gets high, and they increase as well. If the scooter comes to a stop for more than five seconds, the fuel economy-boosting system immediately turns off the engine. The brake lever must be pressed and the throttle must be rotated to restart. The Destini 125 has an ARAI certified fuel economy of 51.5 km/pl.
The Destini 125 is a capable machine. It provides 17% greater torque than previously, with linear acceleration. It takes time to get up to speed. The Destini offers a relaxing ride. The i3S increases the scooter's overall mileage. The Destini 125 has an average mileage of 50-55 kilometres per litre, depending on the riding circumstances. According to the manufacturer, it gets better mileage than 36% of scooters.
Summary
The engine is smooth and refined and offers good acceleration.

The tyres and brake setup of the Hero Destini 125 scooter are confidence-inspiring as well as comfortable for city commutes. The Hero Destini 125 is equipped with 90/100-10 tyres and 10-inch rims. Different tyre models are available for the Destini 125 from brands like CEAT, MRF, and JK. The MRF is the most cost-effective tyre for the Destini 125.The braking system works OK, however, the disc brake is missing. A drum brake unit is located in the rear of the vehicle and is in charge of braking. The Integrated Braking System (IBS) provides safety and reduces the risk of skidding by automatically applying both brakes when the rear brake lever is pressed.
The list of new Hero Destini 125 has a Side stand indicator, Service due reminder, Digi-analog instrument cluster, i3S technology, Mobile Charging port in the boot, Boot lamp, Central key opening (Seat Unlock and fuel cap opener), External fuel filler cap, Metal body and Aluminium cast wheels (VX Variant). The lack of disc brakes in Density 125 is disappointing.
