Pros & Cons of Hero Xpulse 200 BS6
Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 Detailed Review
The design and looks of the Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 are of that an adventure motorcycle. The overall high stance and the rugged hardware make the bike look bigger than its original size and dimensions. Through minor visual details such as the sculpted fuel tank, the small flatscreen, and the elaborate sound card, the Hero XPulse 200 BS6 looks a bit more grown-up and purposeful. Despite the fair modern touches, be the headlight which isn’t the most impressive one, or even the grab rail, it still looks old school. In order to keep the hero XPulse up to date, they have added a digital display. A high raised mudguard is attached to the front side of the XPulse to protect the rider from dust and dirt. The handlebars are quite far apart from each other which aids in maintaining steady balance while off-roading. The seat cushions can be customized to suit your riding experience. It provides superior seating comfort and anti-slip effects. The helmet is designed to withstand accidents and also pertains to modern safety standards and regulations. The motorcycle is available in a variety of colours such as white, matte green, matte grey, sports red, and panther black.

Due to the adventure bike design and the use of rugged hardware, the overall dimensions of the Xpulse look bigger than they are. The overall length, width, and height of the motorcycle are 2,222mm, 850mm, and 1,258 respectively. The Hero offers a proportionate ground clearance of 220mm which helps in protecting the underbelly of the motorcycle. Due to the ground clearance, the motorcycle has the ability to ride on different terrains and uneven roads. The wheelbase measures a solid 1,410mm. Offers a seat height of 823mm which, in turn, provides space for legroom. Kerb weight or the weight without a rider or any luggage carriers will be 157 kilograms. Hero has designed the Xpulse to be able to commute as well as able to ride through soft slush trails etc.
Summary

The Hero Xpulse 200 has always been known for its peppy performance and lightweight chassis. The new BS6 engine Xpulse sustains its capabilities to conquer the soft trails easily. It comes with a fuel-injected BS6 engine that has the same cubic capacity as the BS4 motor and it gets an oil cooler as well. However, in the transition to meet new emission norms, it has lost a little power and torque compared to the BS4 engine. The new engine produces 17.7 horsepower and the peak torque is 16.45Nm. Moves from 0-60kmph in 4.75 seconds, which is quite faster than its previous model, the BS4. The difference in acceleration between the vehicles is a mere 0.10 seconds. The new oil cooler has helped in this regard. As in theory, oil coolers help in maintaining oil temperature and thereby helping the engine perform better, particularly at high revs for sustained periods of time. Beyond the clearly improved refinement, the engine feels noticeably more responsive too. The Hero moves at a speed of 100kmph at 7000rpm which is fairly decent. The fuel injection system incorporated in this motorcycle has improved the ratio of fluid density. The fuel consumption is less due to the fuel injection system. Cleaner and sustainable combustion is another advantage of having fuel injection systems.
Summary
The acceleration speeds on this motorcycle are astonishing and the new oil cooler on it helps to maintain the oil temperatures when moving at high speeds.

It is very light in weight which means it is easy to carry around. Offers decreased resistance as well. The braking system on the motorcycle is impressive. It has an ABS (anti-lock braking system) system. There are many advantages when it comes to having an ABS such as insurance companies providing discounts if the vehicle is fitted with ABS and it stabilizes the steering control of the motorcycle. It is known for being able to stop the motorcycle within very short distances. The ABS has the ability to save lives. When it comes to wheel type, the motorcycle has spoke wheels. The spoke wheels are more durable than most wheels. They are mainly added so as to enhance the experience while off-roading. They are designed to withstand sharp objects and also to handle impacts under pressure. They are flexible and easy to bend. The hero has also equipped it with a fully digital dash which in addition to the basic functions tells you about things like the average speed and gear position. It also tells you the date if needed. What some of you will appreciate is the Bluetooth connectivity it offers through the hero ride guide app. It also features a turn-by-navigation function supported by Google Maps.
