Pros & Cons of KTM Adventure 250
KTM Adventure 250 Detailed Review
The new KTM 250 Adventure looks similar to its elder sibling ADV bike i.e. the Adventure 390. However, there are some design elements that do make it stand apart from the other ADVs from KTM. For example, the ADV 250 comes with more blacked-out contrast in the paint shade & it also gets slimmer tyres. Additionally, the new KTM 250 ADV comes with a standard tiny fly-screen, LED turn indicators, and an LED taillamp. The halogen headlight on the 250 is the only distinguishing feature between the two brothers. To reduce expenses, it doesn't use the LEDs from the 390. Speaking of colour choices, the KTM 250 Adventure comes in two hues: Factory Racing Blue and Orange. The rider can easily handle the deep slush & difficult terrain by standing over the foot-pegs. The high-set handlebar helps transform the Adventure motorcycle into a complete off-road monster.
Summary
The KTM 250 Adventure's soothing ergonomics and upright seating position make it seem rather pleasant to ride. The KTM 250 Adventure's smaller footprint and more aggressive look will appeal to young buyers.
Adventure 250 body specifications:
Seat Height | 855 mm |
Weight | 177 kg |
Wheel Size | 19 inch & 17 inch |

The engine & performance of the ADV 250 is one of the most interesting bits about it. It comes equipped with a 248.76cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine makes a peak power output of 30 PS & 24 NM of peak torque. This power & torque is sent to the rear wheel of the bike via the use of a 6-speed transmission. KTM also provides a slipper-assist clutch function on the ADV 250 to control the bike during tricky road conditions. Meanwhile, the performance of this engine is more than adequate as it is pretty fast when compared to the segment rivals. The comfortable cruising speed of this engine lies between 90-110 kmph on highways.
Summary
The quarter-litre engine provides enough power and torque to full fill your adventure needs.
Adventure 250 engine specifications:
Mileage | 38.12 kmpl |
Engine Displacement | 248.76 cc |
Top Speed | 140 kmph |

The KTM 250 Adventure is no different from other KTM motorcycles in that it has a wealth of high-end gear. A pair of WP APEX shockers handle the motorcycle's suspension work. It has a pre-load adjustable mono-shock absorber with 177 mm of travel in the back and 43 mm upside-down (USD) forks with 170 mm of travel up front. It has dual-channel ABS and KTM's off-road ABS mode for braking, coupled with 320 mm front and rear discs and 230 mm rear discs. The tyre size is 100/90-19 Front Tyre Size, 130/80-17 Rear Tyre Size. These are all-purpose tyres which can be easily used for highway touring as well as off-roading expeditions.
The KTM 250 Adventure boasts two tripmeters, an ABS, a gear position indicator, range, and an average fuel economy measurement on its all-digital LCD instrument panel, among other amenities. The 250 Adventure does without features like a quickshifter, TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, traction control, and LED lighting. Under the instrument console, there is also a 12V charging outlet for it.
Summary
The tyre, brakes, & features of the KTM Adventure 390 are well-knitted according to the segment standards.

The KTM Adventure 250 is a big bike as per the segment standard. The overall dimensions make it appear bigger than its actual size. However, see it in the flesh and one can easily notice the nimbleness of design which when compared with its elder sibling i.e. the Adventure 390. The 2154 mm Length mark, 900 mm Width, 1263 mm Height, 1430 mm Wheelbase, and 200 mm Ground Clearance is the dimensions of the KTM Adventure 250. The motorcycle's seat is 855 mm high & hence it is not much suited for short height riders.

The mark is to get the tank filled asap. Not sure how much fuel is left - tank range easily remains 10-30 km (depending on the road conditions) so the user can get to the nearest fuel station.
