TVS RTSX Latest Update

Last Updated On 26th Jan'25: The TVS Apache RTX 300 is a premium adventure bike designed for enthusiasts seeking performance and practicality. Powered by the new 300cc RT-XD4 engine, it churns out 35 PS and 28.5 Nm. This powertrain provides smooth power delivery across varied terrains. Its advanced features, robust design and competitive pricing position it as a promising option for touring enthusiasts.

Design: The TVS Apache RTX 300 features a road-focused adventure design inspired by larger ADV bikes like the Ducati Multistrada. It includes a large headlamp, tall windscreen and half-fairing that give it a bold and muscular stance. On the other hand, the trellis frame adds a sporty and rugged appeal.

Power and Performance: The Apache RTX 300 is powered by a 300cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder RT-XD4 engine that produces 35 PS at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. This refined powertrain offers smooth and consistent performance, making it suitable for both off-road adventures and long highway rides. Its responsive throttle and refined engine characteristics ensure a controlled and joyful touring experience.

Hardware: Built on a trellis frame, the Apache RTX 300 is equipped with an inverted fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. It features 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels which provide excellent stability and handling across varied terrains. Braking duties are managed by disc brakes on both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety.

Features: The Apache RTX 300 comes loaded with advanced features to enhance the riding experience. It includes a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. The provided TFT console offers call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike also boasts traction control, cruise control, and lean-sensitive ABS for added confidence and safety. Additionally, switchable ABS for the rear wheel allows riders to tailor braking performance for off-road conditions.

Launch and Price: TVS is expected to launch the Apache RTX 300 by the end of 2025, with an estimated price of Rs. 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This competitive pricing places it firmly in the mid-capacity adventure bike segment. If priced this much aggressively, the TVS RTX300 will become an appealing choice for touring enthusiasts.

Rivals: The TVS Apache RTX 300 will compete with adventure bikes such as the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and the upcoming Hero XPulse 421.
