Suzuki V-Strom SX 250

Suzuki Motorcycle India has issued a recall for its 249cc lineup, including the Suzuki V-Strom SX, over a potential engine issue. The recall addresses abnormal wear on the exhaust cam lobe, a critical camshaft component responsible for controlling exhaust valve operation, which could affect engine performance if left unresolved.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has updated the Suzuki V-Strom SX to comply with E20 fuel norms and the latest emission standards. The E20-compatible V-Strom SX, along with the Gixxer 250 range and Burgman Street EX, will be available at Suzuki Premium dealerships from the third week of June 2023. The motorcycle now features an OBD-2 compliant engine equipped with an onboard diagnostics system that continuously monitors emissions and alerts the rider in case of any engine-related issues

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Suzuki V-Strom SX at a starting price of Rs 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Based on the Gixxer 250 platform — a strategy also seen with models like the CB200X and Hornet 2.0 — the V-Strom SX is positioned as a versatile ADV suitable for daily commuting, highway touring, and light off-road use.
