BMW F 450 GS

Last Updated 23rd Dec'24 Design: Although currently in concept form, the F 450 GS bears resemblance to the bigger GS motorcycles in BMW Motorrad’s lineup, with a tall stance, a front beak typical of ADVs and similar muscular elements.The headlamp of this motorcycle has also been lifted off of the F 45- GS.  

Power and Performance:BMW Motorrad is developing a new  parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which is likely to be a 450cc unit. The bikemaker is aiming for a 48bhp power figure, and it is also likely to be tuned for substantial torque at lower RPMs. 

Hardware:Not much can be said about the hardware at the moment. However, the F 450 GS will come with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel setup, with high-strength cast aluminium wheels as an option. It will also come with Brembo disc brakes, along with golden USD forks and a monoshock, with some level of adjustability on both ends. 

Features:The F 450 GS will make use of a 6.5-inch TFT screen, and it is also expected to come with traction control, ride modes, smartphone pairing, online document storage, and also possibly cruise control as well. 

Rivals: The BMW F 450 GS will go up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the KTM 390 Adventure, to name a few rivals.
