Variant Recommendation
Hyundai's entry-level vehicle offers 6 airbags and ABS with EBD across all variants, ensuring you're sorted when it comes to safety. However, there's little reason to go for the Era and Magna variants, as they feel incomplete overall. The Corporate variant, priced at Rs 7.09 lakh ex-showroom, is a much more sensible choice. Plus, Hyundai recently updated this third variant with projector headlamps. That said, if you can stretch your budget by an extra Rs 80,000, you'll get an 8-inch screen, push start button, R15 diamond-cut alloys, and auto AC in the newly launched Sportz (O) variant, making it the most value-for-money option in the i10 NIOS lineup.

Pros & Cons of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
Should I buy the Grand i10 Nios?
For first-time car buyers seeking a budget-friendly hatchback with decent space, good features, and reliable engine options, the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is a suitable choice. It provides a fuel-efficient petrol engine, an option for a company-fitted CNG, and a variety of convenience and safety features. However, if prioritizing a higher GNCAP safety rating is crucial, the Tata Tiago is worth considering, as it boasts a better safety rating compared to the Grand i10 NIOS.
- The Grand i10 NIOS has received a refreshed front design featuring a new bumper and radiator grille, lending the car a more modern and sporty look. The brand has updated the DRLs and introduced a gloss-black radiator grille. Departing from the boomerang design of the previous generation, the new DRLs now form a Y shape. The projector fog lamps from the earlier model have been replaced, with DRLs now occupying their positions.
- The side profile showcases newly designed alloy wheels with a diamond-cut pattern. The overall side profile maintains a resemblance to its predecessor, with the Grand i10 badge visible on the C-pillar of the hatchback.
- The hatchback's rear sees a notable change with the introduction of a new LED tail lamp featuring a connected light. Both the placement and badging of the reverse parking camera have been altered. Two parking sensors are now positioned on the rear bumper. Alongside roof rails, the roof is equipped with a shark-fin antenna for added functionality.

This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, with an optional AMT unit. The bi-fuel variant utilizes the same engine, generating a maximum output of 95 Nm and 69 bhp, with only a manual transmission available.
- In terms of performance, the engine delivers a strong initial pickup, and power is delivered linearly. At 4,000 RPM, where it reaches its maximum torque, the delivery is enjoyable. - ADAbhishek Das27 Jul 2025Value for Money Car3.7Its a value for money car and yes you do get discounts while buying one. The car engine is silent and smooth. The amt gear shifts are almost noticeable but you get used to it obviously. The Sportz variant is actually enough with all the major important features like cruise control, touch screen infotainment, 6 airbags, traction control, hill hold assist, tpms (tire pressure monitoring), auto headlamps. It has decent cabin space being a 6 feet guy. I use it to travel from Navi Mumbai to Powai for office, getting an ideal fuel efficieny of 12 to 14kmpl depending on the level of traffic you are stuck. The projector headlight throw is good enough. AC cooling is a good one. The bootspace is decent enough to get in 2 cabin check in baggages. While i sit on driving seat being a 6 feet guy the rear passenger does has enough leg room too. The power output it decent. The infotainment system has wireless android and apple car play and decent speakers to keep you entertained and well informed about the roads. Hyundai has good service. Overall is a very value for money family car.Likes (1)ReplyRead more

- MGManish Golani1 Month agoGreat Value with Minimal Maintenance4.1I am proud owner of the Hyundai i10, and it’s the perfect car for a small family of four. With a boot space of around 250 liters, it’s sufficient for everyday needs, and the space can be expanded up to 1000 liters if the rear seats are folded. It’s a very reliable car with a silent engine and minimal maintenance costs. Regarding mileage, it delivers about 16-17 km/l in the city and around 18 km/l on the highway. The AC is powerful enough to cool the cabin, even in hot summers with temperatures up to 46°C. I’ve driven it on mountain roads, and it didn’t feel underpowered at all. I’ve also taken it to some of India’s famous forts, such as Jaigarh, Nahargarh, and Amber Fort, and the car handled the journey smoothly. Equipped with a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder engine from the Kappa series, it balances power and fuel efficiency, making it both pocket-friendly and reliable. The only cons I can point out are the build quality, which earned only 2 stars in GNCAP safety tests, and the fact that it comes with only two airbags (before the 2024 update, which now mandates six airbags). However, the quality of the metal and body is excellent, and it doesn’t rust easily. Another small issue is the ground clearance—on some larger speed breakers, the car occasionally touches the ground. Otherwise, the car is fantastic, and I would rate it a solid 9.5 out of 10. Hyundai’s service centers and customer support are outstanding, always ready to assist 24/7. Plus, it has a better resale value than many other brands. All in all, it’s worth every penny for the price it’s offered at."LikeReplyRead more
