KIA Syros

Last Updated on 12th Mar'24: Kia Syros, a compact SUV set to debut in India around December 2024, is anticipated to come equipped with a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. Sporting a boxy profile and silhouette, the 2024 Syrosexudes a distinct charm and practicality.

Price: The Kia SyrosSUV is still under development but it is expected to launch by the end of 2024 in India. Its pricing is likely to remain in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 11 lakh.

Engine and Transmission:  Kia will expectedly debut the Syros with the same petrol and diesel engine options as on the Sonet. It might get a 1.2-lt, naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.0-lt turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-lt turbo-diesel engine options. Transmission options might include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, and a 7-speed DCT automatic.

Dimensions: The size of the Syros SUV will be bigger than the rivals like the Hyundai Exter. It’ll look more bulky than the Sonet as well. The length will not exceed 4 meter, to save the tax benefits.

Features and Safety: Kia will equip the Syros with top-most features like LED lights, alloy wheels, connected screens, wireless phone mirroring, wireless phone charging, and more. On safety front, it will get at least 6-airbags as standard while the top versions can possibly get ADAS features as well.

Mileage: The mileage figures of the Syros will be revealed once the SUV is launched in India.

Rivals: The primary rivals of the Syros SUV will include the Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Exter, Tata Nexon, and the upcoming Tata Curvv.
