MG Hector Plus 2020-2022

MG is known for providing some of the best quality interiors and features. The MG Hector Plus is no different and hence the cabin ambiance is strikingly beautiful. The MG Hector Plus has smoked sepia-finish brown leather seats. The cushioning of these seats is not very soft. The dashboard has a 17.78 cm coloured touchscreen digital display with many features. There is provision for 8 different ambient lighting options from a raging red to a calm blue. The only problem is that these colourful lights shorten the battery of the MG Hector Plus. The doors have an armrest style finish with the front doors having an IP insert. The steering wheel clad in leather is a little stressful on the wrists when tackling U-turns or close cuts. The MG Hector Plus offers two different engines. The Diesel and the Petrol engines, both are equipped with the power to speed through the roads in any setting comfortably. The Diesel engine is 1956 cc whereas the Petrol engine is 1451 cc. Both these engines are available in Manual as well as automatic transmission. The maximum power of the MG Hector Plus is 167.67 bhp@3750rpm. The maximum torque is 350nm@1750-2500rpm. The mileage differs from variant to variant. One drawback is the horn of the SUV. It is placed a little further away from the norm hindering one-hand driving. With frequent use, the driver may grow used to the awkward horn placement. The MG Hector Plus offers a great balance between power, performance, and fuel economy. The overall response from the engine helps move the Hector Plus easily on the steep inclines even with full occupancy and luggage load. The diesel engine remains one of the special qualities of the MG Hector Plus.  

The MG Hector Plus has a telescopic and tilt-adjustable steering wheel while the wheels are made up of alloy. The SUV comes with a cruise control mode suited for long drives. The MG Hector Plus has a McPherson Strut Front suspension with a stabilizer bar. The rear suspension is a semi-independent helical spring torsion beam. The rear and front brakes are of the disc type. The SUV can easily tackle potholes. The engine of the MG Hector Plus begins to sputter while driving on flooded roads very easily. The short revving range makes the traffic jams hard to tackle comfortably. The low-speed ride quality of the MG Hector Plus is very subtle and comfortable altogether. The MG Hector Plus offers a light steering wheel which makes it easy-to-maneuver inside the city traffic despite of its big size. 

MG Hector Plus is a strong SUV overall. The build quality of the Hector Plus is rugged and the setup of the chassis feels solid as well as long lasting. The MG Hector Plus is built with all the required safety measures. There is 360-degree camera vision, a built-in Electronic Stability Program, an electric parking brake, and parking sensors. The OVRMs are heated and the rear window has a built-in defogger. There is a hill-hold system for driving on sloppy terrain, and a speed-sensing auto door lock. The MG Hector Plus also has ISOFIX child seat anchors. Both tires come with disc brakes and have ABS, EBD and Brake assist. There is a Traction Control System also built into the system.
