Pros
New Design Gives It A Distinctive Identity
With the generational update, Maruti Suzuki has gone above and beyond with the design language of the Dzire. It now features a new front fascia with a new horizontal slat grille, crystalline LED headlamps, and a sportier bumper. The side profile gets new 15-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels and the rear gets a new Y-shaped LED taillamp, a new boot lip spoiler, and a new bumper.
Most Feature Loaded Sedan In The Segment
The Dzire has become one of the most feature-loaded sub-4 metre sedans in the Indian market. It now comes with an electric sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, among other features. Moreover, it now has a fast charging port for the rear seat passengers and individual reading lamps for rear passengers among other convenience features.
5 Star GNCAP Rating With Enhanced Safety Features
Maruti Suzuki Dzire has become the first ever Maruti vehicle to receive a 5-star GNCAP crash rating. The brand has offered a good number of safety features as a part of the standard fitment in the Dzire. It now comes with 6-airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX seat mount, all-5 3-point seat belt, rear defogger, and rear parking sensors as standard across the lineup. The upper-spec models come with a 360-degree camera, cruise control, and more features.
Offers A Good Ride & Handling
The new Dzire offers a good neutrally tuned suspension setup. The car remains pliant most of the time, it easily absorbs the undulations of the road. The suspension setup offers good ride quality to the front as well as rear seat passengers. If we talk about the handling, the Dzire is easy to handle, the small footprint helps in easy maneuvering, the steering response is light and it does not feel out of control.
1.2-Litre Z Series Engine Is Fuel Efficient
The new 1.2-liter Z series engine offers amazing fuel efficiency. The brand claims an efficiency of 24.79 kmpl with the manual transmission and 25.71 kmpl with the AMT unit. These numbers are pretty good for a city. The brand has managed to improve the NVH levels and the manual transmission is a slick unit offering a good driving experience.
Maruti's Widespread Sales & Service Network
Maruti Suzuki is one of India's largest carmakers and it has one of the largest networks of sales and service centers in India. Maruti cars offer good reliability and low maintenance cost which helps the owner in having a worry-free ownership experience.
Cons
The 1.2-Litre Z Series Engine Is Not Peppy Or Fun To Drive
Maruti has tuned the new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z series engine for efficiency. This engine offers good efficiency with its manual and AMT gearbox. However, this engine is not as peppy as the outgoing 4-cylinder engine was, the power of this engine is less and it is not made for enthusiastic driving.
Light Colour Interior
The interior of the new Dzire gets a beige colour treatment which looks good but is difficult to maintain. The light-colored interior is prone to getting dirty quickly, it can easily retain hand marks and black marks, and regular cleaning will be necessary to keep it clean and stain-free.
Misses On Some Features
Maruti has incorporated a lot of new features in the Dzire, but it still misses some features. It still comes with a manual day/night IRVM, front center armrest, and driving modes. Maruti could've offered these features in some of the variants.

Verdict
Maruti Suzuki Dzire has become a lot more feature loaded and a lot more appealing as compared to its previous generations. But there are somethings which could've made the Dzire more better. The engine is not that peppy as the previous ones. Maruti focuses on efficiency which is loved by efficiency concious buyers.
