While the recently updated Tiago NRG gets subtle design changes, it continues with the same design language. Some noticeable styling improvements on the exterior include a new bumper with a bigger silver faux skid plate that joins the blacked out cladding on either side. Also, there are major changes on the side profile and the new Tiago NRG gets the same infinity black roof, but this time with the roof rails on the top.

The 2025 Tata Tiago continues with its well-balanced design, featuring a newly designed front bumper, updated grille, and LED headlamps for enhanced visibility. While the silhouette remains largely unchanged, new color options and the same 15-inch alloy wheels keep its visual appeal fresh. The overall design leans towards sophistication and urban practicality.

The NRG's interior carries an all-black charcoal theme that gives it a sportier and more aggressive look. The illuminated Tata logo on the steering wheel, a similar 10.25-inch infotainment unit and rugged-themed seat upholstery contribute to its adventurous persona. While the feature list remains mostly the same as the standard Tiago, the darker cabin makes it feel distinctively more performance-oriented.

Inside the Tiago, the dashboard has been updated with a new 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also, a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo adds a touch of modernity. The cabin feels plusher with new Melange fabric seats. Other convenience features include an HD rearview camera, keyless entry and auto-folding ORVMs.

Both the Tiago and Tiago NRG retain the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque. They are available with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. In the CNG versions, the power output stands at 73 PS and 95 Nm and for the first time, Tata has introduced an AMT option in the CNG variant for the Tiago that enhances convenience for city driving.

However, while the standard Tiago is tuned for a balance between fuel efficiency and performance, the NRG offers a slightly different driving experience with its off-road-inspired tweaks that make it better suited for rougher terrains.

The standard Tiago Petrol starts at Rs. 4.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 7.20 lakh while the CNG variant comes with a starting price tag of Rs. 6 lakh, going up to Rs. 8.75 lakh. On the other hand, the NRG version is priced at Rs. 7.20 lakh for the base variant and Rs. 8.75 lakh for the top-end XZ variant. The Tiago NRG is much pricier than the standard Tiago, but the price it justifies the premium by the added rugged styling, off-road inspired elements and sportier feel of the NRG.
