The C3 Aircross was initially equipped with only basic features, which led to criticism, as its competitors offer more advanced features. 10.25-inch Touchscreen Infotainment
The Citroen C3 Aircross comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is the same screen the brand has used in the C3 & the newly launched Citroen Basalt Coupe. This screen offers a smooth UI for a good user experience. The touchscreen is available from the Plus variant. The C3 Aircross also gets a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
Competition Check: Rivals like the Hyundai Creta & KIA Seltos also offer a 10-inch infotainment unit but they both get wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Roof Mounted AC Vents
The Citroen C3 comes with a three-row 7-seater variant which offers roof-mounted AC vents. The roof-mounted AC vents are a first-of-their-kind feature in the mid-size SUV segment. They provide better cooling for rear-seat passengers. Moreover, the brand has added a new rear AC vent behind the front armrest. The roof-mounted AC vents are available from the Plus variant with the 5+2 configuration.
Competition Check: Every rival in the segment like the Skoda Kushaq, KIA Seltos, and Honda Elevate comes with a rear AC vent but not with the roof-mounted vent.
5+2 Flexi-Pro Seating
One of the USP of the Citroen C3 Aircross is the Flexi-Pro seating available in the 3-row variants. The Flexi-Pro seating offers configurable third rows which can be removed to create more space. The last-row seats can be removed individually, allowing you to customize the third row for luggage while keeping one seat, or you can convert the car into a 5-seater with a larger boot area.
Competition Check: None of the mid-size SUVs comes with a 3-row configuration in the Indian market. But in the same price range as the C3 Aircross, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 can be an option but it does not get removable third-row seating.

With the 2024 update, Citroen India has added the much-needed features in the C3 Aircross. It now comes with the following features,
- Automatic climate control
- Rear-door power windows at the conventional place
- Rear AC vents behind the armrest
- Front center armrest with storage
- LED projector headlamp
- Electrically foldable ORVMs

Verdict
The Citroen C3 Aircross is a practical mid-size SUV that offers a blend of good space and functionality. The ride quality is one of the best in its segment, the engine performance is decent, it is somewhat fuel efficient as well. The OEM has addressed the absence of some features, but the vehicle still lacks features such as cruise control, among others. Given the features it offers, I believe it could have been priced more competitively.
