Hyundai Aura Old Vs New: Design
The facelifted Hyundai Aura gets a complete makeover on the outside. Some major changes are visible on the front fascia of the sedan. It gets a new blacked-out radiator grille and the all-new LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The new front fascia makes the sedan look more contemporary and sharp when compared to the outgoing model. Also, there are no fog lamps on the new model as well.
Except for the front fascia, everything on the outside remains the same as the previous gen Aura including the alloy wheel design. On the rear side, the sedan also features the same taillamps, but now you get a standard spoiler over the boot lid. The bodywork and curves on the side profile also remain the same as the previous gen model. Ohh! how can I miss out on the new Starry Night colour with the new-gen Aura which gives it a premium look.
Hyundai Aura Old Vs New: Features
However, there are no major changes on the inside, but you get a new upholstery with the facelifted Hyundai Aura, leather-wrapped steering and new lighting for the footwell area as well. On the feature front, nothing has changed as the sedan still features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, wireless charging and a small 3.5-inch display as a digital instrument cluster.
Hyundai Aura Old Vs New: Safety Kit
The facelifted Hyundai Aura is way ahead of the outgoing model in terms of safety. The sedan now features more than 30 safety features that put it ahead of its rivals in the market. These features include six airbags, electronic stability control, Hill Start Assist Control, Vehicle Stability Management system and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Hyundai Aura Old Vs New: Powertrain
There is no change in terms of mechanicals too on the new Hyundai Aura. The new model gets the same 1.2-litre petrol unit which is capable of producing 82 bhp and 113.8 Nm of torque. The powerhouse comes mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Apart from this, the sedan is also offered in a CNG variant that churns out lower power figures of 68 bhp and 95.2 Nm. Unfortunately, now there is no turbo petrol option that used to be on offer with the previous model.
