Hyundai i20 Old Vs New: Design
Front Fascia
The facelifted Hyundai i20 has received some serious design upgrades on the front fascia. It features a new and bigger grille which is surrounded by glossy black lines or borders. Like other facelift models, Hyundai has repositioned its logo on the bonnet of the car too. Apart from this, there are sharper LED headlights and upgraded bumpers which has sportier air dams.
Side Profile
In terms of side profile, the overall silhouette remains the same as the previous-gen i20. Other new additions are the new 16-inch stylish alloy wheels. Additionally, the automaker now offers a wider colour palette which includes eight colour options- Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Amazon Grey, Starry Night, Fiery Red and dual tone options- Atlas White with black roof and Fiery Red with a black roof.
Rear Profile
The facelifted Hyundai i20 gets an upgraded blacked-out bumper, paired with a silver skid plate which enhances the sportier design language of the hatchback. Additionally, the reflectors are now positioned upwards which has freed up the bumper space.

As for the interiors, the new i20 gets a similar layout with some major feature additions. First and foremost, the cabin now has a dual-tone colour scheme (Grey and black) instead of all the black interiors that used to come with the outgoing model. Some notable feature additions include drive modes, six airbags standard and a type C charging port.

Hyundai i20 Old Vs New: Engine
The facelifted Hyundai i20 sources its power from the same 1.2 litre NA petrol engine that used to come with the previous gen model. The powerhouse on offer churns out 82 bhp and 115 Nm. The transmission options for the hatchback include a five-speed manual or a CVT unit. Unfortunately, the standard i20 no more gets a turbo petrol option as it is now reserved for the sportier N Line Edition of the hatchback.

The facelifted Hyundai i20 significantly enhances its appeal with stylish design updates, feature-rich interiors, and added convenience. While the engine remains the same, the removal of the turbo petrol option in the standard i20 is a drawback.
