10.25-inch Touchscreen Infotainment With BOSE Speakers
The Carens boasts a lot of premium features and a major highlight among them is the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This infotainment screen offers a crisp and user-friendly UI for better functionality. The 10.25-inch touchscreen is available from the Luxury variant of the MPV with prices starting at Rs 16.72 lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, the Carens also comes with a BOSE 8-speaker sound system starting from the Luxury Plus variant. This variant is priced at Rs 17.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
Competition Check: KIA Carens' primary rival is the Maruti Suzuki XL6. The Maruti XL6 comes with a smaller 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit starting from the base spec Zeta variant priced at Rs 12.56 lakh (ex-showroom). The upper trims get Arkamys tuned sound system as well. The other rival of the Carens is the Toyota Innova Crysta which comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment.
Rear Seat Entertainment & Seat Back Table
Among the various convenience features the Carens also offers a 10.1-inch rear seat entertainment system for the rear seat passenger. This particular feature is available in the top-spec X-Line variant only which is priced at Rs 19.44 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, the brand also offers a retractable rear-seat back table for added convenience for the rear-seat passenger. This seat-back table is available in the Luxury variant priced at Rs 16.72 lakh (ex-showroom).

Smart Pure Air Purifier
KIA offers a Smart Pure Air Purifier in the Carens for a virus and bacteria-free cabin. The air purifier makes the cabin more comfortable. This feature is available starting from the Luxury variant which costs Rs 16.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
Competition Check: None of the competitors of the KIA Carens comes with a smart air purifier. In the same price range, mid-size SUVs such as the KIA Seltos offer this feature in some variants.

Recently, KIA has launched the X-Line variant of the Carens with some added features and an all-black theme. This variant comes with added features such as a dual-camera dashcam. The X-Line is a top-of-the-line variant of the Carens, priced at Rs 19.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Carens comes with a ventilated driver and passenger seat to take the comfort to a notch above. The ventilated cup holders are available from the Prestige+ variant onwards with a starting price of Rs 15.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
Competition Check: The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is another MPV that comes with ventilated seats and a ventilated cup holder. Maruti was the first OEM to offer ventilated cup holders in an MPV. The ventilated seats are available in the Alpha+ variant which starts at Rs 13.21 lakh (ex-showroom), and cooled cup holders are available starting from the base Zeta variant starting at Rs 12.56 lakh (ex-showroom).
Single Pane Electric Sunroof
The Carens is the only MPV in the segment to come with a sunroof. The Carens offers a single-pane electric sunroof starting from the Prestige+(O) variant which starts at Rs 16.31 lakh (Ex-showroom).
Competition Check: The primary rivals of the KIA Carens such as the Maruti XL6 and Toyota Innova Crysta do not offer sunroof. However, the Hyundai Alcazar which falls in the same segment comes with a panoramic sunroof.
