Mahindra Auto recently launched the XUV 3XO in India with an aggressive price tag of Rs. 7.49 lakh, going up to 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted XUV 3OO takes place in the competitive compact SUV segment. The XUV 3XO is a worthy update over the previously available XUV 300. Mahindra XUV 3XO: Engine Options and Mileage
The new XUV 3X0 is available with three powertrain options which include a 1.2-litre turbo petrol, a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel unit. While the XUV 3XO's petrol variants provide almost similar fuel efficiency to its rivals. We have noticed a bigger difference of around 2-3 kmpl in the diesel manual variants when compared to its straight rival Tata Nexon. You get an ARAI mileage of 21.2 kmpl with the AMT version while the manual variant returns a claimed 20.06 kmpl mileage. On the other hand, the Nexon with a 1.5-litre diesel AT powertrain emerges as a winner in terms of fuel efficiency with a claimed mileage of 24.08 kmpl. So if your choice is Mahindra XUV 3XO and you want to get the best fuel economy, just go for the diesel variant whether automatic or manual.
