Maruti Alto K10: Engine Specs
The Maruti Alto K10, being an entry-level small hatchback comes with a 1.0L petrol mill only that puts out 66.6PS power with a peak torque of 89Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and interestingly, also offers an automatic gearbox as well. This efficient engine claims a mileage of impressive 24.90 kmpl. For those looking for even greater efficiency, the Alto K10 is also offered with a bi-fuel petrol+CNG option which comes with a sole 5MT gearbox but claims a mileage of a whopping 33.85 km/kg of CNG. But the performance takes a hit to make up for improved economy at 56.6PS power and a pea torque of 82.1 Nm.
STD MT- Rs. 3.99 Lakhs
Serving as the base model of the Maruti Alto, you do not get an option for the CNG and also no option for an automatic gearbox. It offers you the most basic set of features and even misses out on air conditioner. For AC with heating functions, you will have to opt for the LXi trim onwards.
