The new Amaze is the only car in its segment to not get a CNG powertrain option. Also, surprisingly while the Dzire also gained a sunroof, the new Amaze does not get one, even as an option.
Here's a list of some things available from the base variant itself:

- Day/night IRVM
- Seatbelt reminder and ISOFIX child seat mounts

ZX (Top-spec variant)
The top-spec ZX variant comes equipped with a Level 2 ADAS suite, which mostly brings along many driver aids, along with a few cosmetic enhancements. Here's a quick look:
- Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lead car departure notification, road departure mitigation system, automatic high beam, and collision mitigation braking system.
- Dual-tone diamond-cut 15-inch alloy rims
- Gloss black finish on the grille
- Chrome door handles
- Soft touch front door armrest lining
In terms of mechanicals, the new Amaze remains identical to the outgoing car, retaining the same 1.2-litre, nat-asp petrol powertrain. This setup continues to produce 88.5bhp and 110Nm of torque, paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. As for rivals, the Amaze continues to go up against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and the Tata Tigor.

Verdict
Honda seems to have done a good job of refreshing the new Amaze, with a good set of features on offer, along with a design inspired by the bigger cars in its lineup. We do not expect to be too different in terms of the driving experience, as it retains the same set of mechanicals. However, let's wait for a proper review to find the answer.
