New Honda Amaze Vs Maruti Dzire: Honda Cars India launched the all-new Amaze earlier today. The sub-compact sedan has been launched at a price tag of Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Amaze has been a huge success for the automaker from the very beginning as the model contributes more than 40 percent of the sales in India. Always been a good option in the segment, the Amaze locks horns with the Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura and the new iteration has just made the competition stiffer.

New Honda Amaze Vs Maruti Dzire: Engine
The new Honda Amaze sources its power from a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated engine which is capable of making 90 hp of power and 110 Nm of torque. The Amaze offers a 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox options and the CVT options also come equipped with the paddle shifters.
On the other hand, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes powered by a 1.2 litre NA petrol engine that generates 82 bhp of power and 112 Nm of torque. The Dzire offers transmission choices such as a 5-speed manual and AMT. An added advantage of the Dzire is that it is also available in CNG versions.

I must mention that both Amaze and Maruti Dzire are two of the most vfm cars in their segment. The new Amaze gets an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity- Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and connected car tech. Additionally, it offers features such as fog lamps, LED projector headlamps, auto climate control, wireless charging, three point seatbelts and rear AC vents as well.
In comparison, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets features such as a 9 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, 360 degree camera and connected car technology. Other features of the new Dzire include sunroof, LED headlights, keyless entry and all four power windows.
