The Magnite N-Connecta variant can be had from Rs 7.97 lakh (ex-showroom), which keeps it quite close to the base variant of the Amaze, i.e the V variant, which is priced at Rs 8.09 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Both cars can be had with manual and automatic transmission options, but you will see their differences below.

Performance

Out of the two cars, it is the Amaze that feels sluggish even though it comes with the larger engine of the two cars in this comparison. The CVT gearbox dulls things down in terms of acceleration and, it becomes very clear that is not meant for outright performance. Hard acceleration will also cause things to be rather loud inside the cabin. The steering is a bit on the heavier side as well, and while enthusiasts may consider it as a redeeming quality, newer drivers and regular people may consider it a bane.

In comparison, the Magnite, with its turbo-petrol powertrain feels faster off the line, and even with the CVT, its acceleration does not get bogged down by too much. Surprisingly, the cabin of the Magnite felt a tad bit more refined than of the Amaze. The steering wheel is smaller here, and it also feels much lighter to use as well, something that will be appreciated by newer drivers.
As for the back seat, that is something we will keep reserved for now, as we have tested both cars in our multiple people review; stay tuned for that!
