Tata Curvv vs Tata Nexon - Size Difference

Tata Cure

The dimensions speak for themselves, and it's evident that the Curvv is much bigger, with its 500L of boot space being class-leading, easily accommodating 4 to 5 suitcases along with other small bags. That's not the case with the Nexon's boot. However, the Curvv and Nexon have the same amount of ground clearance.

It's also important to note that these are unladen figures. With five passengers and luggage, the ground clearance of the Curvv and Nexon could drop to 190 mm or less. Still, the Nexon would be a better vehicle for off-road driving due to its compact size, and the driver will feel more confident behind the wheel.

Tata Curvv vs Tata Nexon - Engine Options

In the new car, Tata has introduced a powerful turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine called the '1.2 L Hyperion,' which produces 125 PS and 225 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCA with an E-shifter. Additionally, Hyper Quiet technology has been added, significantly improving NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) levels.

Apart from this, the 1.2 L Revotron turbo petrol and 1.5 L Kryojet diesel engines have been carried over from the Nexon. However, the big news is that the DCA gearbox with an E-shifter has been introduced with the diesel engine, making it a first in its segment. This means the fun factor will be at an all-time high.

Talking about the Nexon, the DCA gearbox is only available with the turbo petrol Revotron engine, while the 1.5L Kryojet diesel comes with a six-speed AMT option, as well as a six-speed manual.
