This facelift introduced a host of new design elements to the Harrier, making it not only more modern but also future-ready. First, the front features sequential LED DRLs that perform a welcome sequence every time you unlock the vehicle. The grille, which appears piano black at first glance, is adorned with multiple chrome inserts that give it a classy look. Moving to the bumper, it houses LED projector headlamps and LED fog lamps. This design language is consistent with other modern Tata cars, and the Harrier is no different.

Lets move to the rear end, where the same sequential LED treatment is applied, and the overall design of the tail lights is completely new. In terms of features, it now includes a powered tailgate that opens via gesture control. Additionally, the rims are new, featuring aero inserts on the R18 alloy wheels, which complement the size of the vehicle perfectly.

Talking about the interior, one would be surprised to see the Tata badge on the steering wheel, as it feels like a luxurious symphony of leather and technology. The dashboard features a three-color treatment: piano black, black leather, and a contrasting color element, which makes it look distinct from any other vehicle.

12 Inch infotainment screen, 10 Inch digital drivers dispaly, and dual zone climate control are the top features added in this SUV. Apart from these, the panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and jeweled terrain response driving modes are some of the features that make you feel a sense of luxury every time you're in the Harrier.

Like other Tata cars, each variant of the Harrier essentially has its own distinct personality, offering a different aspect of the interior. The most expensive variant, the Fearless Plus Dark Edition, which costs Rs 26.44 lakh ex-showroom, includes all the features mentioned above.

Verdict

This facelift has surprised both automotive experts and the audience because the Harrier already had a dominating personality before the facelift. The new changes have made it an even more serious contender, attracting attention and making it a car that everyone wants to buy. The sharper bi-function LED headlamps, the redesigned alloys, and the bold color choices create a strong product for the Indian automotive sector.

The features are plentiful, setting a new standard for what modern cars should offer. The engine is refined and delivers power rapidly in every gear, though it does exhibit some turbo lag with the manual transmission, so opting for the automatic transmission is advisable.
