Audi India has finally launched the 2022 A8L and is it available in two trims - Celebration Edition and Technology Pack. The prices for the same stick to Rs 1.29 crore and Rs 1.57 crore, ex-showroom, Delhi. The bookings of the flagship sedan commenced a long time back from Rs 10 lakh.
Mechanically, the newer A8L is powered by a 3.0-litre, TFSI petrol motor with mild-hybrid tech that belts out as much as 338 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 500 Nm. It gets mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and gets an all-wheel-drive technology. The car can do 0-100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds and the top speed is limited to 250 kmph.
On the outside, the A8L gets digital matrix LED headlights that feature an illuminated Audi logo, OLED taillights, 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and it is made available in eight colour options and those are -

On the inside, it gets four-zone climate control, virtual cockpit, head-up display, 10.1-inch rear-seat entertainment package for rear passengers, rear-seat recliner, Bang and Olufsen advanced sound system with 3D sound, panoramic sunroof, cruise control with speed limiter, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8.6-inch display to control the HVAC and seating functions and more.

Safety equipment on the Audi A8L includes eight airbags as standard and 10 airbags as an option with the Safety Package Plus, park assist, 360-degree camera, self-tightening seat belts for both front and rear passengers and more.
